icrosoft Windows "Incomplete TCP/IP Packet" Vulnerability eliminates a security vulnerability that can allow a malicious user to "hang" or crash your PC by transmitting malformed TCP/IP packets that are received by the affected machine. This "denial of service" vulnerability can occur when specially malformed TCP/IP packets are sent to a victim’s machine.
These packets will temporarily prevent any networking resources on an affected computer from responding to client requests. Once the packets stop arriving, the machine would resume normal operation. In a less likely case, the system could hang, and remain unresponsive until it was rebooted.
